Oklahoma has been busy with a couple of recruiting classes this year, but it’s been less active than it was in years past.
The Sooners have signed three prospects, including former Oklahoma star and four-star guard-forward Juwan Walker, and have also re-signed two others.
Oklahoma has also signed a handful of other players.
Oklahoma has signed four players from the 2016 class, including guard Shavon Jackson, two-star forward Trey Crescenzo and four prospects from last year’s class.
The Cowboys have also signed five players from last season’s class, all of whom were Oklahoma commit players.
Walker is expected to sign with the Cowboys, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Okla.247 reports the Cowboys have signed two more recruits this year: four-stars guard Brandon Lutz and guard/guard Dajuan Williams.
Lutz, a six-foot-three point guard from Dallas, is expected join the Cowboys as a senior, the 247 Sports Composite ranks the 6-foot, 170-pound Lutz as the No. 15 prospect in the state.
Lutz is ranked No. 1 in the country, according the 247 Composite.
Williams, a five-star point guard, is a senior from Oklahoma, 247 Sports ranks him as the top recruit in the nation.
Williams will join the Longhorns in 2017 after transferring to Oklahoma in 2019, and will likely be the Cowboys starting guard next season.
Williams is rated as the number eight prospect in Oklahoma, according 247Sports, and he will be the team’s second starting guard.
The 6-3, 215-pound Williams has been a three-star recruit in 2017 and was a three time Big 12 Player of the Year.
