The 2016 NFL draft was an all-star event.
We got the first glimpse of the most talented group of players that the NFL has ever seen.
But it’s also a time of upheaval, a time when teams are desperate to make their rosters better.
It’s a time for talent to be identified, and for a new wave of stars to emerge.
There are three of those in particular that will have a huge impact on the league and the game of football: Aaron Donald, Aaron Donald Jr., and Ezekiel Elliott.
The three have all signed long-term contracts and are currently under contract for two more years.
Elliott is the second-best wide receiver in the draft and the No. 1 overall selection, while Donald Jr. is No. 2, according to our draft board rankings.
And the three are all in the midst of a very big offseason.
With the NFL draft officially underway, it’s time to examine the most exciting players in this year’s class.
ESPN Stats & Info uses Pro Football Reference data to calculate the projected 2015 salary cap and the average annual value of the top players on each team.
We then take those numbers and divide them by the projected salary cap to determine the projected value of each player’s contract.
The chart below shows the projected 2016 cap value for each player.
This is based on our projected 2015 cap numbers.
If you’re a sports fan, you probably already know that Donald Jr.’s contract is valued at $15.2 million.
He’s not the only player to get an extension this offseason.
The Browns have $10.6 million in cap space, while the Packers have $7.3 million in space.
But the Eagles, who have $3.5 million in salary cap space and the Seahawks, who don’t have much to work with, have more cap space.
The Panthers have $4.6-million in cap room and the Raiders, who had the best odds of landing a top-flight quarterback in free agency, have $5.1 million.
The Packers are the only team to have no cap space available this offseason, but they could use it to lock up a top cornerback.
The Cowboys, Jaguars, Broncos, and Chargers are the teams that have the most cap space this offseason but don’t currently have any.
If the Eagles and Cowboys are able to land top-tier cornerback Jalen Ramsey, they could be a good fit for Elliott.
With Elliott, the Cowboys could give up a second-round pick for a franchise quarterback.
If Elliott is able to find a quarterback, he could potentially get to the quarterback position by 2019.
Elliott has had a rough go of it at Texas A&M.
He was dismissed from the Aggies after a video surfaced in which he threw a punch at an Aggies fan during a football game.
Elliott was later suspended for a year, and he was never able to repeat the act.
Elliott hasn’t been able to recapture the form that made him the No, 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
After spending much of his rookie year at Texas, Elliott struggled to find consistency with the Cowboys offense.
The offense was not clicking with Elliott, and the Cowboys did not have a top receiver to lean on for yardage.
Elliott struggled with the ball in the air and was often held to less than 50 yards per game.
The Eagles could use Elliott as a weapon, and they have an opportunity to get one with their first-round draft pick.
The Vikings are another team that has plenty of cap space to spend, but it’s hard to see them giving up a first-rounder for a quarterback.
The Titans have an extra year of cap room, and a new offensive coordinator will be in place in 2017.
If that’s not enough to get Elliott a job in Tennessee, the Titans could use some help at receiver.
The Jaguars have the best chance of landing Elliott, as they are loaded at wide receiver.
They have one of the best receivers in the NFL in Allen Robinson, who is entering his third season.
Robinson is currently the highest-paid receiver in football, making $18 million this year.
He could be given a long-shot opportunity to prove that he can be the No 1 receiver in Dallas.
If Robinson is able the opportunity to show that he belongs in Dallas, the Jaguars could use him as a safety valve.
If it’s Elliott, Robinson could be able to contribute on special teams, while also contributing on offense.
Robinson could also be used as a deep threat and a punt returner.
The Lions are also in the market for a receiver, as the Lions have a pair of receivers in Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate that are both under contract through 2019.
The Bears have a number of options at receiver, but could use one of them to snag Elliott.
Elliott could give the Bears an explosive receiver to pair with Ryan Grant.
The Rams have a good chance of finding an upgrade at receiver in 2016, but the Bears have to be
