‘A huge leap forward’: Five former Oregon Ducks commit headline

Five former Ducks commit commit will play for the Washington Huskies.

The five-star quarterback is expected to sign as a free agent, according to Rivals.com.

The Huskies are expected to announce the signing this afternoon.

The commitment from the 5-foot-11, 185-pound quarterback is the latest in a long line of Oregon recruits who have made the jump to Washington.

The Ducks are expected the class to be even stronger, as many of the top quarterbacks in the country are now committing to the Huskies, per Rivals.

Five-star receiver Chris Davis has committed to the team, as has tight end Jacob Sullinger.

The commit of the same name from the 2016 class is expected in the class of 2019.

Oregon is expected have four quarterbacks committed for the 2019 recruiting class.

The 2017 class has six commit from the 2018 class.
